There is a new leader at the Sheboygan Harbor Centre Business Improvement District (BID).
The organization has shared that its Board of Directors has voted to approve the promotion of Member Services Director Kristin Bahr to the role of Executive Director.
Bahr moves into this new leadership position after joining the BID in 2024, with prior experience in marketing across multiple sectors.
The Harbor Centre BID expects Bahr to continue being a catalyst for positive change in her new role while driving new initiatives and visibility.
On Bahr’s work with the BID, Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce CEO Diedre Martinez stated, “The role was intentionally designed with flexibility and autonomy, allowing for innovative approaches and responsiveness to member needs. Kristin has excelled in this role, and I’m very proud to see her advance to the role of Executive Director.”
Part of Bahr’s work as Executive Director will be to work with member businesses, ensuring they receive all the benefits they are afforded through membership, to which she said, “Membership in the BID is free to businesses operating within the district and property owners. The benefits are real, which makes sharing this message with the local community very fulfilling work for me, and perfectly suited for the skillset I have developed over the course of my career.”
