Just days remain to apply for funding through the United Way of Sheboygan County.
The organization is reminding the public that the application window for their 2026 Innovation Grants will come to a close tomorrow (April 30th).
This marks just the second year Innovation Grants have been awarded in Sheboygan County, which the United Way provides to fund initiatives such as launching creative solutions to pressing needs in the community, meeting emerging short-term needs, and addressing urgent, unexpected, or unfulfilled needs across communities.
This year, United Way’s grant cycle will focus on funding for essential needs such as housing, food, transportation, healthcare, and other areas.
On the benefit of offering these grants, the United Way of Sheboygan County noted, “We believe that our community thrives when nonprofits are empowered to innovate. But finding the funding to pilot new ideas, meet emerging needs, or scale successful programs can be a challenge. Our Innovation Grants provide the flexibility to adapt and respond to what our community needs most.”
