A second liberal-backed candidate is joining the 2027 Wisconsin Supreme Court race.
Court of Appeals Judge Pedro Colon, a former Assembly member representing Milwaukee, launched his bid Tuesday for next year’s open seat.
Colon said, “Some of Wisconsin’s most consequential cases will come before this court over the next decade, and I know that I have the experience, judgment, and empathy needed to help decide them.”
He joins Clark County Circuit Court Judge Lyndsey Brunette in the race to replace retiring conservative Justice Annette Ziegler.
