There’s a new lawsuit in connection with the April 18th clash at Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds.
Activists filed the lawsuit against the animal research facility and the Dane County Sheriff following a demonstration that resulted in several people being arrested.
Protesters attempted to remove beagles from the facility, and the lawsuit claims police responded with rubber bullets, tear gas, and pepper spray.
Multiple demonstrations have been held at the facility in Blue Mounds over the past couple of months.
