
Another busy Tuesday of local high school sports is highlighted by some teams experiencing early-season success.
GIRLS SOCCER
The Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Soccer Team is looking for its sixth win of the season tonight as they head to Ashwaubenon to battle the Jaguars in FRCC play.
The Ships got above .500 last Thursday (5-4-2) with a 4-1 non-conference win over Oshkosh West at Rubick Field. They are unbeaten in their last five matches (3-0-2) spearheaded by a terrific defense allowing just four goals during the streak.
The Jaguars (4-2-2) began the season with four consecutive shutouts but have gone winless in their last four matches with two ties and two losses.
This is the second conference match for both sides, with match time scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Other girls’ soccer matches have Manitowoc Lutheran travelling to Sheboygan to battle Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian, Pulaski visiting Sheboygan North, Howards Grove hosts St. Mary Catholic, Ozaukee/Random Lake entertaining Kohler, Kewaunee travels to Cedar Grove Belgium, New Holstein heads north to meet Sevastopol/ Gibraltar, and Oostburg hosts Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah.
SOFTBALL
Following a tough loss to Valders last Friday, the Mishicot Indians girls’ softball team returns to Big East conference play today as they entertain the Hilbert Wolves in the first of a home-and-home series this week.
The Indians are unbeaten in The Big East North (4-0), one game clear of St. Mary Catholic and 2 ahead of The Wolves.
Mishicot has dominated in conference play, having outscored the competition by a 52-7 margin.
The first pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts Green Bay Southwest, Manitowoc Lutheran entertains Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, Two Rivers travels to New Holstein, Valders, tied with New Holstein atop the EWC, hosts Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, Roncalli heads to Kiel, and Reedsville plays hosts to St. Mary Catholic.
BASEBALL
Roncalli hosts Howards Grove, Manitowoc Lutheran hosts Elkhart/Lake Glenbeulah, Hilbert heads to Mishicot, Reedsville is home for St. Mary Catholic, Brillion has a non-conference game at Bonduel, Oostburg entertains Sheboygan Lutheran, Kohler/Sheboygan Christian plays at Cedar Grove Belgium, state-ranked Random Lake is home for Ozaukee, Algoma travels to Kewaunee, and Denmark hosts the Freedom Irish.
TRACK AND FIELD
The 2026 EWC boys and girls Relays will be held at Jerry Bonino Field in Two Rivers.
BOYS GOLF
Several Manitowoc and Sheboygan County schools head to Riverdale Country Club in Sheboygan for a meet, teeing off at 3:00 p.m.
BOYS TENNIS
In boys’ tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln has an FRCC match at Green Bay Southwest, and Roncalli/Manitowoc Lutheran travels to Appleton to meet the Foxes of Fox Valley Lutheran
