A Manitowoc man has been arrested after he was caught with child pornography.
A Manitowoc Police Detective was tasked with investigating a tip indicating an IP address linked to an apartment in the 2000 block of Marshal Street had accessed child sexual assault material.
A warrant was issued for a Dropbox account, which contained five videos of children in sexual situations, including one that showed two nude prepubescent children.
21-year-old Travis Elliott Fayne Jr., the owner of the account, was detained last Thursday (April 22nd), and he admitted to downloading and viewing the videos.
Fayne was booked into the Manitowoc County Jail on five counts of Possession of Child Pornography and was issued a $50,000 cash bond by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
He is due for his initial appearance this afternoon in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom.
