The Manitowoc man accused of transporting a large amount of THC with children in the vehicle had his charges reduced.
23-year-old Kaden A. Jones had his bail set at $500 cash by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on Friday as he faces charges of Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver, and Felony Bail Jumping.
He was initially arrested last Thursday (April 23rd) on those charges, as well as Keeping a Drug Vehicle, Child Neglect, and an additional count of felony bail jumping.
Jones was pulled over at around 2:45 p.m., where the officer learned that he had just been at his father’s house.
His father is known to be involved in the distribution of controlled substances, so K9 Rolo was called to the scene.
He alerted the officers to the presence of drugs, and a search of the vehicle uncovered 50 THC vape devices, multiple ounces of marijuana, a digital scale, and other pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Jones is due for his initial appearance this afternoon in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom.
