
Manitowoc Lutheran took the boys’ team title at The Mishicot Track and Field Invitational on Thursday with a total of 152 points.
Winning their events were senior Trenton Schuettpelz in the 110-meter hurdles, senior Isiah Muchka in the triple jump, and freshman Julian Stuebs captured the 400-meter race, while the 4×400-meter relay team consisting of Isiah Muchka, Julian Stuebs, Roman Di Marco, and Luke Melhorn came in first place.
The Lancers also recorded 8-second and third-place finishes on their way to the tram championship.
Manitowoc Lutheran placed fifth in the girls’ competition with 94.5 points, a half-point behind Two Rivers.
Sophomore Isabella Eick won the 400-meter race; the 4×800-meter relay team of Isabella Eick, Adriel Barthel, Hope Muchka, and Maddie Wusterbarth finished second; senior Makiah Krause and junior Eva Manzano were second and third, respectively, in the triple jump; and Krause placed third in the 100-meter hurdles.
The Lancers return to action Monday afternoon with a co-ed meet in Hilbert.
