The Manitowoc County Mariners will entertain the Brown County Blackjacks of Green Bay in a preseason scrimmage this afternoon at Ron Rubick Field.
The Mariners begin their 16th season under the leadership of Head Coach and Owner Marcos Alfaro Senior.
Alfaro tells seehafernews.com that the scrimmage will last approximately three hours with drills in all three phases (offense, defense, and special teams) to be on display.
Today’s scrimmage begins at noon with free admission.
The Mariners will play in the Midwest Football League again this season, with their opener to be held next Saturday (May 2nd) in Rockford, Illinois, against the Rock River Rampage.
