Hospitals in Manitowoc County are being recognized for vaccinating children.
The 2026 BigShot Winners were announced by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in four categories: routine childhood vaccines, adolescent vaccines, an MMR dose by 24 months, and two doses of MMR by 6 years old.
Aurora Health Care in Manitowoc on Dewey Street and Aurora Health Care in Two Rivers were recognized for the routine childhood vaccine.
The Aurora Clinic in Manitowoc was also a BigShot winner in the on MMR dose by 24 months category, along with the Aurora Health Care group in Plymouth.
Ascension Medical Group- Calumet Clinic was recognized as well.
In the two-dose MMR vaccine category for the six-year-old age group, Aurora Health Care Sheboygan on Ashland Avenue and Two Rivers were recognized as BigShot winners, along with Bellin Health Family Medical Center in Denmark.
