An elderly woman is dead in Middleton after being hit by a car.
The 68-year-old was struck by a vehicle yesterday morning near Branch Street and Century Avenue.
First responders arrived on scene to perform life-saving efforts, but she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and cooperated with the police after the collision.
Police noted the 25-year-old Middleton woman faces a charge of knowingly operating without a driver’s license, causing death.
