The Manitowoc Public School District will be honoring the legacy of one of the elementary schools closing next school year.
All are invited to Madison Elementary School this Saturday to honor all of those who have worked and studied at 701 North 4th Street.
The celebration will begin at 1:00 p.m. with an open house and a presentation at 2:00 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to walk through the building, view memory displays, reconnect with others who were part of the Madison community, and celebrate the many years Madison has served Manitowoc families.
Madison has welcomed generations of students and families and has been a place where learning, friendships, and community connections have grown each year.
Madison and Jackson Elementary Schools will be closing at the end of the 2025-2026 school year as part of a consolidation effort.
The Jackson Legacy Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd
