Four schools in the City of Sheboygan have been honored by the State of Wisconsin.
The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) has announced that Grant, Jackson, Wilson, and James Madison Elementary Schools have been named Schools of Recognition for the 2024-2025 academic year by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction (DPI).
Each of these four schools recognized received the award in the DPI’s High Impact category, which “recognizes schools with a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students that demonstrate above-average achievement when compared to similarly situated schools.”
The honor also exemplifies the school’s commitment to student growth and achievement.
SASD Superintendent Dr. Jake Konrath was proud of the recognition, noting, “As a district, we are deeply committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality learning experiences and the support they need to succeed. This recognition highlights the impact of that shared commitment and the progress we are making together.”
