Charges have officially been filed in a Green Bay machete attack.
29-year-old David Mairena-Garcia is accused of entering a residence in the 900 block of Edgewood Drive on Monday (April 20th) with an edged weapon and attacking two people.
The Green Bay Police Department reports that a 23-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were both injured in the attack, requiring hospitalization.
Mairena-Garcia was later arrested and charged with Armed Burglary, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and two counts each of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and Aggravated Battery.
