The fallout from the fire at Green Bay Converting last month has gone well beyond the physical damage.
The company sent a letter to the Department of Workforce Development explaining that, “due to the catastrophic, March 16, 2026, fire at the Company’s Larsen Rd. facility, and despite the Company’s best efforts and plans to re-tool and rebuild,” Green Bay Converting is laying off 32 employees.
All of the employees were working at the facility at the time of the fire, including 15 assistant operators, five crew members, five maintenance workers, four operators, and one material handler, quality control worker, and a supervisor.
