Manitowoc Public Utilities is getting ready for Drinking Water Week by offering tours.
MPU will offer plant tours on Thursday, May 7th, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the water treatment plant on South 7th Street.
Tours will run every 15 minutes throughout the timeframe, meaning there is no need to register beforehand.
The city-owned utility will hand out flyers explaining the treatment process, give a branded water bottle or color-changing cup (while supplies last), and offer a behind-the-scenes look at treating water.
