The maiden voyage of the S.S. Badger for the 2026 season is less than a month away.
On May 15th, the iconic vessel will make its way back to Manitowoc after departing from Luddington, Michigan, to kick off the season.
As always, the public is invited to come out to the Badger dock to welcome her back to the Clipper City, which is expected to be at around noon.
A new addition to the Maiden Voyage Weekend celebration is the showing of a new documentary called Railroad on the Water: Legend of the S.S. Badger.
The film was created by Drayton Blackgrove and will be shown in the UW Green Bay – Manitowoc Campus Theater on Sunday, May 17th, at 3:00 p.m.
