The date has been announced for the annual Luminary Walk, hosted by Unity.
The Luminary walk, which serves as a fundraiser for the hospice care, palliative care, nonmedical home care, and grief support, is scheduled for Friday, May 8th.
The walk also serves as a way for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one to share their memories with others also experiencing grief.
Unity is looking to raise $50,000 this year, which they say will “help sustain the efforts of Unity Grief and Education Center.”
Unity encourages individuals to form a fundraising team with family and friends or serve as an individual fundraiser.
