Four of Sheboygan County’s most promising young musicians will be featured at an upcoming concert at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
The 56th annual Senior Honor Recital is scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd, and will showcase the talents of Kohler High School alto vocalist Fynley Bouck, and Sheboygan South saxophonist and clarinetist Sawyer Lopez.
The students were chosen from a field of talented musicians by judges Anthony Bauer, who teaches band and orchestra in the Manitowoc Public School District, and Steven Paul Spears, Associate Professor of Music and Chair of the Voice Department at Lawrence University.
The Senior Honor Recital will also feature special guests Drake Wappler, an alumnus of Sheboygan South High School who performed in the 55th Senior Honor Recital, and Paolo Gonzalez, an alumnus of Sheboygan North High School who performed in the 54th Senior Honor Recital.
They will be joined by additional musicians in ensemble and duet performances, highlighting their ongoing dedication to pursuing their passion for music.
