
The man charged in a 2024 Fond du Lac shooting has been sentenced.
Court records show that 53-year-old Luis A. Guzman-Romero was found guilty by a jury on charges of 1st Degree Reckless Injury, Aggravated Battery, Disorderly Conduct, four counts of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and two counts each of Criminal Damage to Property and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
In total, Judge Tricia Walker ordered Guzman-Romero to spend 15 years in prison, followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
Guzman-Romero was arrested in October of 2024 after he shot a person during a confrontation in a parking lot.
He will be back in front of Judge Walker on May 12th and July 1st for restitution hearings
