
Authorities in the City of Sheboygan are investigating a shooting.
The Sheboygan Police Department was called to the intersection of North 12th Street and Geele Avenue on Tuesday just before 7:00 p.m. on a report of numerous gunshots being fired off.
On the scene, officers located evidence that a gun was indeed fired; however, there was no evidence that anyone was struck by the gunfire.
At this time, investigators are following leads to identify who was responsible. One individual was temporarily brought into custody but was released shortly after.
Sheboygan Police determined he had no involvement in the incident.
The Sheboygan PD is now asking for the public’s help to identify the culprits and to hear from residents in the area who may have experienced damage to their homes or properties from the gunfire.
