The Kiel girls’ soccer team continues to dominate in the early part of their season.
They shut down Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian 6-0 at home yesterday.
Head Coach Mike Pritchard says defensively, they took away SLC’s best player in Cara Madison and collected the ball on defense to build up their offensive attack.
That was done by all four defenders, including Maddison Conway, Bella Schrage, Emma Thiebault, and Callaway Goodman.
On offense, another hat trick for Taavi Seager, while Deanna Schwaller put two past Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian’s goal, and Molly Jaschob added one goal of her own.
Kiel Goalie Mya Langenfeld tallied seven saves for her fourth shutout.
With the win, Kiel has only given up two goals so far this season while they’ve scored 23 on their opponents.
The Raiders are now 5-0 overall and will play their 1st EWC conference game tomorrow at home when they welcome in the Valders Vikings, who lost to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah yesterday.
