A road in the Town of Two Rivers is now closed.
Clerk/Treasurer Bonnie Timm tells Seehafernews.com that Hillcrest Road from State Highway 42 to Tannery Road is closed in both directions due to a culvert washout.
Drivers and residents in the area are asked to use County Road V or County Highway VV to get to State Highway 42 and Tannery Road.
The Village of Reedsville also says that Park Street is closed for now due to high water levels.
Videos on social media also show some minor flooding along the East Twin River around Mishicot.
The National Weather Service River Forecast shows that the Manitowoc River, where it’s measured, has reached minor flood stage; however, there are currently no road closures for the City of Manitowoc, Two Rivers, or Kiel.
There is a chance of rain throughout the rest of this week, with no reprieve in sight until Sunday.
