The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is gearing up to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
For the remainder of the year, deputies will be wearing commemorative badges celebrating the special occasion.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig explains that the milestone “marks two and a half centuries of growth, challenge, and progress.”
It also reflects on the ideals that shaped the nation and the shared responsibility everyone will have to strengthen communities for generations to come.
Hartwig finishes saying that the badges serve as a small but meaningful tribute to America’s 250th year and the continued commitment of deputies to serve with professionalism, respect, integrity, dedication, and excellence.
