A Democrat who ran against State Representative Shae Sortwell in the 2024 General Election is trying again.
Navy Veteran Alicia Saunders announced that she will run in Wisconsin’s 2nd Assembly District.
She explains that in 2024, she didn’t “lose and disappear, but stayed, worked, and kept showing up.”
Saunders travels for work in the district and explains that her campaign is grounded in real-life experience, not political talking points.
The Kimbery resident says she’s heard communities across the district ask about water, infrastructure, and who it actually serves.
She finishes by saying she’s worked for the last two years on continued veteran advocacy since her last campaign.
