Lakeland University has honored two students for their academic achievements.
The university has announced that Quinton Schuyler Jr. and Morgan Hoffman have been named as Outstanding Student Award recipients for Lakeland’s center and online programs.
Schuyler Jr., a Green Bay Native, is set to graduate at the end of the spring semester with a degree in accounting and a concentration in marketing.
Tammy Metzke, one of his instructors at Lakeland, noted, “He is probably the most organized student I’ve had in the over 40 years I have been teaching…He has finished at the top of each of his classes academically. He also is never afraid to reach out if he has questions, which I feel is a great attribute in a student.”
Meanwhile, Hoffman, from Greenville, Wisconsin, is also scheduled to graduate in May with a master’s in counseling with a clinical mental health emphasis.
Her instructor, Chris Jenkins, lauded her academic achievements and explained, “Morgan is an exemplary student. She is consistently active, engaged, and eager to learn… She manages the demands of work, internship, and family with impressive time‑management and clear prioritization.”
