A woman from Plymouth has been accused of stealing from a local 4H group.
Court documents show that 50-year-old Stacy L. Limberg was inside a Sheboygan County courtroom last week for her preliminary hearing as she faces one felony count of Theft-Business Setting $10,000 to $100,000.
This comes after Limberg was given a $7,500 signature bond during her bail hearing late last month, where she was also ordered to have no contact directly or indirectly with any board members of the Sheboygan County Junior 4H Dairy Project.
Limberg, a farmer from Plymouth, is the former President of the Sheboygan County Dairy Promotion Association Board; however, very few details regarding the case are available at this time.
When making a public records request regarding the case, the Sheboygan Police Department denied such a request and told SeehaferNews.com, “Formal charges against this defendant remain pending,” a statement that they have since walked back after pushback, and court documents show is factually incorrect.
Limberg was originally set for her arraignment today (April 8th); however, after requesting to substitute the judge presiding over her case, that hearing is yet to be announced.
