The Manitowoc City Council will be looking slightly different after yesterday’s election.
District 5 incumbent William Debaets lost his seat to challenger Mason J. Benzinger, on a 343-210 vote.
Meanwhile, the only other contested race saw longtime incumbent Eric Sitkiewitz retain his District 6 seat over challenger Benajamin Hilburger, 493-288.
The other three races were uncontested, allowing Jodi Brey, Bill Schlei, and Brett Norell to retain their spots on the council.
