Manitowoc Lutheran High School will host the Manitowoc County All-Star Boys and Girls Basketball games this Sunday afternoon (April 12th).
Players from all eight Manitowoc County schools (Manitowoc Lincoln, Roncalli, Manitowoc Lutheran, Two Rivers, Valders, Mishicot, Reedsville, and Kiel, along with Brillion girls athletes) will participate.
Those who are scheduled to attend include Ben Prochnow and Arden Strenn from Division Five State Champion Reedsville, Donovan Cowley, and Dominik Frozena from EWC Champion Roncalli, Manitowoc Lutheran’s top two scorers in the history of the girl’s program, Melissa Melhorn and Makiah Krause, Valder’s girls all-time leading scorer Megan Hockammer, and Mishicot’s second all-time leading girl’s scorer Kensington Rosenow.
A three-point contest will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the girls’ game tipping at 2 p.m. and the boys’ game scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are asked to bring canned food items to donate to Peter’s Pantry in Manitowoc, along with a monetary donation to help those dealing with food insecurity throughout Manitowoc County.
Doors are scheduled to open at noon.
