Hello!
My name is Amanda Duerschmidt, Registered Nurse with Froedtert Holy Family Pediatrics here in Manitowoc. I will be joining one of our Pediatrician’s, Dr. Rebecca Schmitt, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, to present Potty Training 101 at Manitowoc Public Library.

Potty training is one of the most significant milestones in your toddler’s development. For many parents, potty training can be overwhelming and pose many challenges along the way. During our presentation, Dr. Schmitt and I will discuss how to recognize the physical, cognitive, and behavioral signs of readiness for potty training. We will also discuss preparation, increasing toilet conversation, tips for success, and setbacks you may encounter during your child’s potty-training journey.
We look forward to sharing our ideas to help your family be successful & answering any questions you may have about potty training. See you in the Balkansky Room at Manitowoc Public Library on Thursday, April 16, from 6-7 PM for Potty Training 101!
