Police are looking into the death of a man in a Fond du Lac County gas station bathroom.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Clark Gas Station in the Village of Oakfield just after 1:30 Monday afternoon (April 6th) on a report of an individual who had been in the bathroom for a “significant period of time.”
The responding deputy gained access to the bathroom, where they found a male subject with “a serious head injury.”
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS personnel.
It was later determined that the 18-year-old Milwaukee man had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head.
The Sheriff’s Office and Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating the case, but say there is no threat to the public.
