
The Reedsville Panthers, who captured their first boys state basketball title in 80 years last month, received the WIAA Winter Team Sportsmanship Award for the decorum demonstrated by both the school and the community at the WIAA State Boys Basketball Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison.
The Panthers defeated Sheboygan Lutheran in the Division Five semifinals 75 to 72 on Friday, March 20th, and Southwestern 56 to 48 in the Division Five state championship game Saturday, March 21st.
The school district also received recognition for football in the Division Seven State football championship game in 2021, as they defeated Coleman 12 to 0 to capture their first and only state football championship.
