One person is in custody after a physical altercation spilled over onto the grounds of a Manitowoc middle school.
Manitowoc Police were called to Washington Middle School Saturday morning (April 4th)on a report of an active fight.
Upon arrival, officers observed numerous individuals in the 1400 block of South 22nd Street.
On the scene, police made contact with those involved, including residents living just down the block.
They told officers that a 27-year-old Manitowoc resident entered their residence without permission.
The 27-year-old refused to leave and was physically forced out of the home, but continued to make threats towards the other two individuals, one of whom was a minor.
The 27-year-old was then chased off the property, eventually onto the school grounds of Washington Middle School.
There, the 27-year-old is alleged to have punched the minor involved, causing the other adult involved to return punches to protect the child.
The police report continues to say that while the 27-year-old was previously permitted to stay at the residence, he was recently forbidden from being there after making sexual comments toward the residents.
As a result of the incident, the suspect was taken into custody on charges of Physical Abuse of a Child, Disorderly Conduct, and four counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
