Negligent disciplinary charges are filed against the Kewaskum police chief and its lieutenant.
A spokesperson with the Kewaskum Village Board says Chief Thomas Bishop and Lieutenant Bryan Frank failed to follow hiring protocols after an independent investigation.
An officer was disciplined and fired at a previous law enforcement agency but the information was not reported.
The Police and Fire Commission are now reviewing the case.
