An area health facility treating cancer has just hit a major milestone.
The ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center in Appleton is celebrating a decade of delivering care at the Encircle Health Campus after opening in 2016.
Reflecting on the past 10 years of care, Lydia Gonzales Ryan, Vice President of ThedaCare Cancer Services-North Region, said, “During this time – with our patients, their families and our communities always top of mind – we have continued to strengthen and expand access to cancer care across our region in meaningful and measurable ways.”
These improvements include expanding patient access to clinical trials, making new technology available to the area, and advancing the center’s cancer research capabilities.
To close, Gonzales Ryan noted, “To our patients, families, caregivers, researchers and community partners, thank you for trusting us over the last decade. We are honored to continue walking this journey with you and plan to keep doing so over the next 10 years and beyond.”
