The location of the 2026 Kewaunee County Breakfast on the Farm has been announced.
This year’s June Dairy Month celebration will be held on Father’s Day, June 21st, at EL-NA Farms in Algoma.
The farm has been in the Fenendael family for 168 years, spanning six generations.
It first became known as EL-NA Farms in 1969 when Eli and Nancy Fenendael purchased the land and combined the first to letters of each of their names.
Now consisting of 2,500 cows and 7,500 acres, the farm has seen much growth and expansion within the last 25 years.
A few of their most notable accomplishments include the addition of a new 40-stall rotary parlor in 2008 (the first rotary to be built in Kewaunee County) as well as the purchase of an additional farm in 2022 – Sand Bay Dairy – located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
Their latest extension, a grain facility, is set to be completed this year.
The event will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a church service, followed by the iconic breakfast from 8:00 to noon.
