Authorities in Appleton are still searching for an individual who went missing seven years ago.
The Appleton Police Department has stated that the investigation in the disappearance of then 22-year-old Nicholas Hietpas remains open and ongoing.
Hietpas, an Appleton resident, was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with green lettering, blue jeans, and brown work boots in 2019.
His vehicle was later located near Highway 64 and Shadow Lake Road in the Town of Doty in Oconto County; however, Hietpas was not with the vehicle.
Authorities also note that Hietpas may be in the company of a white German Shepard named Samantha.
Appleton Police are still seeking assistance in finding Hietpas, and anyone with information regarding his disappearance or current whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Chad Riddle with the Appleton Police Department by calling 920-832-5564.
