A woman was hit by a train in De Pere yesterday.
The De Pere Police Department reported the incident at 3:00 Wednesday afternoon (April 1st), asking everyone to avoid the areas of Scheuring Road near Lost Dauphin and Grant Street near 6th Street.
They initially reported it was a “train-related incident”, but WBAY confirmed that a woman over the age of 80 had fallen on the tracks and was hit by the train.
Her condition is not known at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
