A Manitowoc man accused of making sexual comments to a teenager is due in court.
Court records show that 33-year-old Raymond S. Wynne will be back inside a Manitowoc County courtroom today (April 1st) for a scheduling conference as he faces one count of Disorderly Conduct, which carries a repeater modifier.
This comes after Wynne entered a not guilty plea to the lone charge he faces back in February.
The 33-year-old was arrested after police were called to the Manitowoc Public Library on January 12th after he allegedly made inappropriate, sexual comments to a child.
Witnesses told police that Wynne approached the victim and other children who were at the library working on a project and asked them how old they were.
Not long after, he returned and asked the victim if “they wanted to lose their virginity.”
Investigators then located Wynne, who admitted to asking the victim their age, but he denied ever asking if they wanted to lose their virginity.
At this time, Wynne is not in custody after being given a $1,000 signature bond by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch in January.
