
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal car crash.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig tells Seehafernews.com that deputies and emergency responders were called for a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 42 and East Hillcrest Road in the Town of Two Rivers last Friday (March 27th) just after 5:30 p.m.
Preliminary information shows that a 2007 Toyota Camry, being driven by 20-year-old Adnan Bhatti of Wauwatosa, was traveling east on East Hillcrest Road and did not stop at a stop sign.
His vehicle was struck by 59-year-old Timothy Armstrong of Pennsylvania, who was driving a 2014 Kia Sorento.
Bhatti’s vehicle then caused minor damage to a residence in the 8100 block of Highway 42.
The 20-year-old victim was taken to Aurora BayCare Medical Center, but he was pronounced deceased.
Armstrong was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay before being evaluated and released.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene and is completing a crash reconstruction.
Sheriff Hartwig finished by othering this deepest condolences to those affected by the incident and thanked numerous emergency departments for their response.
