A man accused of fatally shooting a Milwaukee police officer is scheduled to appear in court today.
Prosecutors say 23-year-old Tremaine Jones opened fire on Officer Kendall Corder after officers responded to a report of a man with a gun.
Corder was shot at the scene and died three days later at a hospital.
Jones faces first-degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide charges.
He has pleaded not guilty and faces life in prison if convicted.
