Sheboyganites can now see how their input has changed development plans in the City.
Sheboygan’s Director of Planning and Development, Taylor Zeinert, has unveiled the City’s updated draft of the Comprehensive Plan after receiving extensive public input at their open houses earlier this month.
Director Zeinert also noted, “The updated draft incorporates community input on key topics such as land use, housing, transportation, and economic development. The Department extends its appreciation to all who attended the open houses and shared comments, helping to shape the direction of the plan.”
With the updates, the City will be hosting its third open house on April 10th.
Those in attendance can expect large-format displays of maps, data, and corresponding goals, similar to those available at the March open houses, with City staff on hand to answer additional questions.
To close, Director Zeinert said, “The goal of this final session is to identify any remaining updates or refinements needed. Community members are encouraged to attend, review the materials, and provide comments to ensure the Comprehensive Plan fits Sheboygan’s needs.”
