A man had to be airlifted to a hospital after falling at a Fond du Lac County campground over the weekend.
WBAY reports the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Mauthe Lake Campground just before 5:00 Sunday evening on a report of a man who had fallen on a trail near the boat launch.
The 84-year-old man was said to have suffered serious facial injuries.
He was taken via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, where no update has been given on his condition.
The entrance to the campground was closed for about an hour during the response, which included assistance from Campbellsport Ambulance, the Kewaskum Fire Department, First Responders, and West Bend Ambulance.
