Red Arrow Park in Manitowoc will be getting some improvements courtesy of T-Mobile.
The city’s Director of Tourism, Courtney Hansen, says the city has received a $50,000 grant to reinvigorate the park through improved access to the beach and Lake Michigan, while creating a one-of-a-kind public space focused on inclusivity and community pride.
There will be a groundbreaking for the project next Wednesday, April 1st at 1 p.m. where a check presentation will be made.
Mayor Justin Nickels and other city representatives will discuss the impact this grant will have on the community.
T-Mobile announced the project was one of more than 900 applicants this past quarter.
The company has provided 15 grants across Wisconsin since 2021 totaling more than $640,000.
