The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will be seeking public input across the state in the coming weeks.
The DNR and Wisconsin Conservation Congress’s (WCC) annual Fish and Wildlife Spring Hearings will be held in all 72 counties in Wisconsin on April 13th, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Manitowoc County’s meeting is slated to take place inside the UW-Green Bay Manitowoc Campus theater, while Sheboygan County’s will be held inside the training room at the County Transportation Department building in Plymouth.
Each year, these meetings allow Wisconsinites to learn about and provide input on the way resources are managed across Wisconsin.
On what attendees can expect, the DNR stated, “DNR staff and WCC delegates will be on hand to discuss local issues of importance, answer questions from the public and open a dialogue between the public, the DNR and the WCC about areas of interest and concern.”
Feedback from the public on topics such as a variety of fish, wildlife, and other natural resources-related topics is welcome to better shape the future of conservation in Wisconsin.
