The suspect accused of shooting and killing a woman in a Madison parking ramp allegedly made previous threats against the victim.
Diamond Wallace made his first court appearance this week following the Sunday shooting of Christine Jones downtown.
Police say the pair used to work together at a hotel, and Wallace blamed Jones for losing his job last April.
The criminal complaint also accused the 31-year-old of making threats against Jones in the past and causing other disturbances at the hotel after his termination.
He faces a charge of intentional homicide.
