There have been numerous reports of individuals entering vehicles and outbuildings/garages in Fond du Lac County over the past several days.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office reports that these incidents occurred in the St. Cloud area and on Lakeshore Drive in the Town of Friendship.
In most cases, the doors were left unlocked.
The Sheriff’s Office is reminding everyone to make sure their vehicles are locked, even if they are parked in their driveways, to park in a well-lit area, and to make sure no valuables are left in plain sight.
As for the garages and sheds, again, locking them is important, but also ensuring outdoor lights and motion sensors are turned on, and making sure any security cameras are functioning properly.
