A man convicted in a Fond du Lac fraud case has once again had his conviction upheld.
61-year-old Sterling Keinbaum was found guilty due t no contest pleas on charges of Racketeering and Theft by False Representation in 2018, and has twice appealed the decision.
In 2020, an appeals court upheld the conviction, and another appeals court once again upheld the conviction this week.
FOX11 reports that Kienbaum, who owned Fox Valley Iron and Metal, claims the prosecutors failed to turn over certain documents, but the court disagreed.
Kienbaum was arrested after it was learned he would fill scrap vehicles with extra weight before selling them to another company to get more money from them.
In total, he was said to have defrauded the company out of $14 million.
He is currently being held in the Burk Correctional Center in Waupun, where he is serving his 11-year sentence.
