A domestic situation in Manitowoc drew an armed response from police.
The Manitowoc Police Department was called to a residence at 5:45 Tuesday morning on a report of a woman threatening another person with a knife.
Dispatch received numerous calls about the situation, with some callers saying it sounded physical.
Officers approached the apartment with guns drawn, and when no one inside responded, the officers kicked in the door.
They located the parties involved, and neither one of them had a knife. One of the individuals was cooperative with the police and peacefully exited the residence, while the other resisted.
The suspect denied ever threatening the victim with a knife, while the victim claimed the suspect had threatened to kill her before going into the kitchen and digging in the drawers.
She also admitted to never actually seeing the suspect with a knife.
The 21-year-old female suspect was arrested on one charge of Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
