
Roncalli’s varsity girls basketball coach has stepped down.
Roncalli High School has announced that head coach Amanda Bauer is stepping down from her role following eight years with the girls’ basketball program.
Bauer was hired for the job back in 2018 and in the years since, has left a lasting and meaningful impact on her student athletes, helping them develop both on and off the court.
With gratitude, Roncalli Athletic Director Nathan Kaderabek said, “Her commitment to building relationships and developing young women of character has left a lasting mark on our program.”
Coach Bauer added, “I am thankful for the opportunity to work with such dedicated student-athletes and supportive families. I will always cherish the memories and experiences we shared.”
With this announcement, the school has stated that it will begin the process of identifying candidates to be Bauer’s successor in the coming weeks.
